Qualifications

• Registered Republican
• Preferably, live within precinct represented
• Willing to accept the following responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

a) You are an official member of the Kosciusko County GOP Executive Committee.   You should attend most of the Committee meetings.

b) It is your job to obtain a Vice-Chair for your precinct.   Notify the KOSGOP chair of this person’s name and contact information.

c) It is your job to recruit Neighborhood Captains for your precinct.   Their job is to help you and your Vice-Chair do your jobs!

d) It is your job to call poll workers for your precinct before each election by the date designated by the Board of Elections and to transmit your list to the County Chair or Vice Chair.  This job does not usually take very long, but when it is needed, it needs to be done very, very promptly.   If we Republicans don’t do this job well, it gets left for the Board of Elections and Chief Judges (Democrats) to complete our task!

e) It is your job to arrange for someone to put up and take down candidate signs at the polling place for your precinct before and after each election.

f) It is your job to arrange for someone(s) to be visible outside the polling place on the day of the general election, to answer questions, to hand out candidate material, and to make suggestions for whom to vote.

g) The GOP officers expect that you will volunteer to help out at party headquarters on a regular basis.
